And I’m off to staging, this is it! Final goodbyes have been made, countless listmaking, packing and re-packing, and paperwork is done. I now board a series of planes and attempt to mentally prepare myself for the biggest adventure of my life.
I have added a link on the right to On the Home Front, a publication for Peace Corps Volunteers family and friends to read. A lot of it is family specific, but some of it gives a basic synopsis of the stages I will be going through.
Reminder: “No news is good news” during training (first 3 months) I expect to have very minimal access to the internet, and after that is unknown how frequently I will be able to make posts.
