I found out where my site will be! I am going to Chipata (the provincial capital) of Eastern Province on Sunday and staying at the Peace Corps Provincial house, which is nice as this is where I will spend my free days almost monthly once at site. The site I’m going to is the only RED replacement site in Eastern Province, the current PCV, Koh has been there for 2yrs and sounds like he as had a great experience. He is meeting me at the Provincial house and apparently he’s a pretty hard core biker, so I will be biking 50K to my new home (if he agrees to put my bag on his bike rack). He will host my visit for a few nights and show me the ropes, then I will be alone at site for 2 days and travel back to Lusaka with my counterpart. I will certainly be spilling with excitement upon return, hopefully I will be able to post again then (and share some of the awesome pictures I have been taking.) Training is going well, can’t wait to swear in April 24th!

50 kilometers of biking? That is pretty hard-core. Well, I guess you’ll be getting in really good shape! I saw all of your pictures o facebook and they are amazing! About two months ago I sat down and read everything on your blog. It took a few hours for me to do that, and it must’ve taken you ten times that long to put it all together! The site looks great. I don’t go on the internet very often any more because we were told that ALL internet was off limits at work, even during lunch break. And by the time I got home, I was way too tired to go online. However, I just found out that we apparently ARE allowed to go online during lunch, just not when we are still clocked in for the work day. So now I will be able to read more of your blog and write you emails!
