Well…sort of. We had to come in to immigration to have our work visas processed and a few of us went first, then hopped in a taxi to go use internet! I can’t imagine standing there waiting for all 36 of us to be processed. Whats new in PC/Zambia? First things first, I have a new mailing address. PO BOX 520103 CHADIZA, ZAMBIA AFRICA. We have 3 new trainees, they are direct transfer voulnteers from Madagascar as Peace Corps had to evacuate there. One of them will be my nearest neighbor in Chadiza District! We had our mock language test this morning and I scored intermediate low, which is what you need to swear in as a volunteer, so as long as I keep it up through next Tuesday for my actual language proficiency interview I’m all set! We swear in on the 24th, I can’t believe training is almost over. I will be sad to leave my host family, they have been so sweet to me. I promise to write a longer post when I am in Chipata before posting, this internet cafe is just too time restrictive at the moment. Love from Zambia!
